The following joint press release by CASME and ISM was issued on 17 September 2015.
CASME, the global membership network for corporate procurement, has announced a cooperative agreement with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM @) to provide continuing education hours (CEF) for ISM members who participate in CASME events.
CASME specialises in bringing procurement professionals together to share detailed marketplace knowledge and trend information with a network of over 10.000 global members. CASME runs more than 175 events on indirect procurement topics every year, including regular RoundTable meetings in cities across North America which are free to attend for members. CASME also publishes regular research and benchmarking reports that help procurement professionals promote best practice and deliver savings for their business.
Under the agreement, ISM members, who are corporate subscribers of CASME will be awarded CEF hours for participation in CASME RoundTable events and web audio Mini-RoundTables.
