Focusing on Supplier Innovation at ISM Indirect 2017
The annual ISM Indirect conference is taking place in Las Vegas later this month - an ideal opportunity for attendees to explore effective strategies for indirect procurement, learn from peers, and attend keynote presentations from Microsoft, Intel and many others.
Indirect procurement can manage as much as 50% of an organisation’s annual purchasing budget, and so strategic sourcing and spend reduction are vitally important for profitability. Representing the industry’s global network for procurement professionals, the CASME team will be at the conference to share how a CASME subscription provides essential category knowledge and market insights for procurement teams, with events, insights and benchmarking across 24 indirect categories.
Encouraging innovation is a key theme of this conference. CASME’s Director of Content, Graham Crawshaw, is hosting a Roundtable session entitled Innovation from your indirect suppliers: Improvements in a changing environment, giving delegates the chance to network within a small peer group and discuss key topics that include:
- Using suppliers’ knowledge to develop and apply ideas
- Controlling risk when sourcing indirect goods and services
- Managing spend for optimal value and shared cost savings
- Creating strategic alignment between the objectives of the company and the focus of suppliers.
Visit the CASME team on booth 406 to learn more about the benefits of a CASME subscription and find out how active membership can lead to the achievement of CEH hours towards CPSM certification.
Delegates can register to receive a Supplier Innovation Procurement Snapshot, the recently published report that highlights how CASME’s global members are encouraging innovation from suppliers. CASME is also offering delegates complimentary reports on strategic sourcing and recent best-in-class benchmarking studies.
