Best procurement advice I’ve been given:

Develop effective lines of communication with all key stakeholders and build trust through an understanding of their needs, issues, and concerns

Procurement advice I’d give:

Never stop learning about your profession. Continue to look for new ideas, strategies, tools and processes to deliver the greatest value and benefits to your internal customers and allowing your organisation to be more competitive in the marketplace. Don't settle for being an 'order placer' in your organisation

What I wish I’d known:

The importance, and value, that effective cross-functional teams can bring to all organisations, and the key skills that require demonstration to internal stakeholders that will instil confidence in their use of Procurement
