remind them to log it in their MyCIPS as the 30 hours logged per year contributes towards their application for Chartered Status.CASME is committed to inspiring procurement excellence and a central part of our strategy is to work with prestigious professional associations across the world. We are therefore delighted to align with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), and the Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia (PASIA) to help promote continuing professional development within the global procurement community.
Members of CIPS, ISM and PASIA who are also CASME corporate subscribers can gain CPD or CEH hours for every CASME event attended, helping to support the attainment of professional procurement skills:
- For attendance at a CASME RoundTable gain 6 hours CPD or CEH time
- For attendance at a CASME Virtual RoundTable gain 1.5 hours CPD or CEH time.
After attending an event, simply log on to the Resource Centre to download your Certificate of Participation, which counts as proof towards learning and maintaining professional procurement knowledge and skills. CIPS members should log these events into "MyCIPS" as the 30 hours logged per year counts towards the application for Chartered Status.
CIPS members can also access past CASME Global Digests on a complimentary basis. Global Digests provide best practice strategies on specific procurement categories, insight into future trends and are available for CIPS members to download.
